A Micro-hit of Mindfulness - Paying Attention
I had a strange cascade of thoughts where I stepped on some sand outside my back door, and I was actually observing my thoughts as the "story" started to arise.
The story of my daughter emptying out her shoes, and then, I quickly went to get the broom and simply swept the sand from the back porch paying attention to my actions.
It was the most interesting sweeping job I've ever experienced.
