Science vs. Hope and Prayers

  Science vs. Thoughts and Prayers It's good for you to send well-wishes to another, but appealing to a divine creator to solve problems is simply not a valid strategy/tactic for making things better. As we get news of the spread of COVID to the POTUS, I chuckle at at the "thoughts and prayers" that are coming out. "Thoughts and prayers" are not tangible action, don't effect change, and isn't grounded in reality or science. "Thoughts and prayers" simply aren't enough. The claims that the virus wasn't serious and deadly was nothing more than the "thoughts and prayers" of a man who desires for the world to fit into what he wants, not what he's willing to put the effort into creating. The claims that the virus would pass with the warmer weather of summer, were nothing more than "thoughts and prayers" of someone denying the experts and science, when what was needed was support for masks and keeping 6' apart.
